Slovakia’s new government has blocked the shipment of ammunition to Ukraine

The new Slovak cabinet has blocked the initiative of the previous government to allocate 40.3 million euros in military aid to Ukraine. The package was to include mainly ammunition.

“The government does not approve the proposal to transfer military material to Ukraine,” – said in the message of the Slovak government.

We will remind, the new Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fiсo said that Bratislava further does not intend to supply Ukraine with military aid. During a meeting with members of the Slovak parliament, Fiсo said that Slovakia would continue to help Ukraine in humanitarian and civilian terms, but not in military terms.
