European Commission chief Ursula Von der Leyen said the European Union will allocate an additional €25 million in humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip.
“Today I can announce another increase of €25 million – up to €100 million,” the European official said.
Earlier it became known that the number of dead in the Gaza Strip as a result of bombing by the Israel Defence Forces exceeded 10 thousand people.
