The US is concerned about the number of Palestinian civilians killed by Israeli attacks and calls on Tel Aviv to respect humanitarian law, US presidential national security adviser John Feiner said.
“The high number of civilian deaths is of great concern to us,” Feiner said in an interview with CBS television.
He noted that Israel must follow international humanitarian law.
Earlier it became known that the Israeli army found “many access points” to the underground tunnels of Hamas under the Gaza Strip.
