Iranian Defence Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani has threatened the US with a serious strike if the American side does not stop the war in the Gaza Strip.
“Our advice to the Americans is to immediately stop the war between Israel and Palestine and ensure a ceasefire, otherwise you (the US) will receive a heavy blow,” Al Arabiya TV channel quoted him as saying.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that Washington does not want war with Tehran, but will respond if its representatives are attacked during the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Before that, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that the US had asked the republic not to interfere in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
