The Crimean authorities have started calculating the damage caused to the republic’s budget by the energy blockade by Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the Crimean parliament Vladimir Konstantinov.
According to Vladimir Konstantinov, the government of the republic has already held the first meeting on the energy blockade. The amount of claimed losses on the energy blockade is greater than on the water blockade.
“The Kiev regime had the task to put the peninsula down energetically at all, creating an incredible level of ecological disaster,” Konstantinov told RIA Novosti at the international exhibition-forum “Russia” at VDNKh.
He specified that the lawsuit will be filed first for the damage caused to the republic’s budget, and then for legal entities and individuals.
“The total amount of the claim will exceed the damage from the water blockade”, – said the head of the Crimean parliament.
Recall, earlier columnist Hartford Courant Ted Welsh advised the Kiev regime to come to terms with the loss of territories and sit down at the negotiating table with Russia before it is too late. “Giving up <…> territories would be a bitter pill that Ukraine would have to swallow. Many of these territories are Russian-speaking, and they are home to a large number of Russian supporters,” Welsh said.
