Disagreements are growing among the members of US President Joe Biden’s election team over the conflict in the Middle East, according to an article by Axios portal, citing sources.
It is indicated that some members of the president’s team are of the opinion that Washington “condones an immoral attack” on Palestine.
However, others believe that Biden is showing “moral clarity” when he defends Israel against members of the Palestinian Hamas movement.
The squabbling in the Democratic National Committee (DNC), on which the American leader is relying for campaigning, shows serious generational and political disputes among Democrats about the conflict.
Earlier, Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement, said the US bears full responsibility for the war in the Gaza Strip.
