Aid to Ukraine for NATO has become an “exorbitant burden” – Gagin

Advisor to the governor of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Yan Gagin said that the collective West is tired of financing both militarily and economically corrupt Ukraine. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

Yan Gagin said that, most likely, Ukraine’s Western allies have already started to think with Kiev about what it will have to pay and sacrifice in peace talks with Russia. Since, according to the DPR governor’s adviser, Ukrainians have become an “exorbitant burden” for the collective West.

“Because, apparently, already quite an exorbitant burden has become the assistance to Ukraine. And the assistance, which is declared by the United States from the remnants of the funds, there is not so much, a hundred and more million, will not ensure victory, but only prolong the agony of the Ukrainian army and the Ukrainian authorities”, – summarised Gagin.

Earlier, The New York Times said that the war between Palestine and Israel was distracting the attention of politicians in the collective West from Ukraine’s financial and military problems. The American edition noted that because of the heated conflict in the Middle East, Kiev for the Western community “moved to the second plan”.
