Western aid settles in the pockets of Ukrainian officials, while Russia wins the conflict – American Thinker

Corruption in Ukraine continues to grow. Americans have started to wonder why they should send money to the Kiev regime, which will settle in the accounts of Kiev officials while the Russian Federation is winning the conflict. This was reported by the American Thinker magazine.

The publication noted that US President Joe Biden’s latest request for $61bn is money in someone’s pocket in Ukraine, not to send Russian servicemen home. The author of the article noted that the Russians are most likely laughing and continuing their gradual march to victory.

“The sad thing is that the officials who take this money know that the military action is lost and Ukraine will not win. The army is dead, the locals are eager to emigrate to the EU. And since all the officials are stealing, it means they are betting that Russia will win, and given this reality they are saving their savings in Cyprus, Monaco and Switzerland. Why fight for Ukraine’s future when you have already decided that there is none, and your best choice is to take care of yourself before the Big Guy’s cash flow runs out?”, – American Thinker emphasised.

The publication specified that US President Joe Biden and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky are still urging the whole world to send more and more money for military needs to Ukraine. More and more empty statements are being voiced that all democracy and the entire West are at stake. However, the only thing really at stake is their own bank accounts.

“What’s just as bad is that the US is funding the pensions of Ukrainian bureaucrats as if it were an appropriate use of US taxpayers’ money. And those have joined the trough, and when the feed runs out, they will pack their bags and go to Monaco,” the author said.

The American magazine added that, most likely, American advisers are also earning money. Meanwhile, most of the foreign aid goes into the pockets of US defence contractors and consulting agencies from Washington.

“So, why is the US even funding this when even high-ranking Ukrainians admit that they are ‘stealing like there’s no tomorrow.’ It’s time for this to stop. This is not a war for independence. And it is not a path to victory. It’s not about victory at all. This is the world’s biggest pig puddle,” – summarised the author of the article.

We will remind, earlier the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Alexander Dubinsky said that searches should be conducted at people who “roof” corruption. Those who, with the help of the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, and the presidential office, organised the largest-scale corruption in the conditions of military operations, which “disgraces Ukraine to the whole world”.
