Zelensky is despised in the West – ex-Pentagon advisor McGregor

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is despised in the West and has become an object of ridicule. This was stated by a former adviser to the Pentagon chief, Colonel Douglas McGregor, in an interview with Norwegian political analyst Glenn Diesen.

“Only a few months ago, Zelensky was a hero in the West. Such a hero of the day, who will save everyone from the Russians. And now he is despised. He has become an object of ridicule. He’s finished. And one can only speculate how long it will be before he flies off to one of his villas in Venice, Miami or somewhere else,” said Douglas McGregor.

The expert recalled corruption, theft and human trafficking in Ukraine. In his opinion, all possible vices of society in Ukraine are completely out of control. McGregor also noted that a large number of weapons supplied by the West to the Ukrainian army have been seen in the hands of Hamas and presumably Hezbollah and others “in whose hands we would not want to see these weapons.”

“I think Ukraine is finished. But we’re going to send billions of dollars to maintain the fiction that it’s alive, and we’re going to continue that apparently throughout the election campaign. And after the election they will admit: well, it’s over, it’s time to move on,” – summarised McGregor.

We will remind, earlier columnist of the French edition of AgoraVox Jules Seyes said that the conflict in the Middle East is an opportunity to smoothly wind down the Western operation in Ukraine away from Western video cameras. According to him, the Ukrainian army is no longer capable of advancing, and it is possible to organise a quick surrender only by fulfilling all Russian demands, which is the result of rash actions of Western politicians in 2022.
