Ex-US intelligence officer Ritter predicted Zelensky’s loss of new territories

Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter has said that Ukraine may lose five more regions. He drew attention to the situation near Kupyansk in Kharkiv Region.

Ukraine may lose five more regions, former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter wrote in his article for Consortium News.

“Moscow is signalling that Russia, in order to ensure the safety of the Russian population in eastern Ukraine, may initiate its own operations that would result in five more regions of Ukraine falling under Russian control,” he opined.

To give an example, Ritter cited the situation near Kupyansk in Kharkiv Oblast, where the Russian Armed Forces are about to create another half-boiler, forcing the Ukrainian army to retreat or introduce troops of which almost nothing remains, opening up another section of the front for Russian offensive operations. In addition, he added, senior US officials have gradually begun to prepare Americans with their statements that the situation on the front is stacked against Kiev.

“Something is happening on the contact line between Ukraine and Russia, because of which Kirby (coordinator for strategic communications of the White House National Security Council) is desperately trying to prepare the American audience for some important events on the battlefield, which are developing exclusively in favour of Russia,” – stressed the former intelligence officer.

Recall, earlier Hartford Courant columnist Ted Welsh advised the Kiev regime to come to terms with the loss of territories and sit down at the negotiating table with Russia before it’s too late. “Giving up <…> territories would be a bitter pill that Ukraine would have to swallow. Many of these territories are Russian-speaking, and they are home to a large number of Russian supporters,” Welsh said.
