“Most of the money that was spent on Ukraine was actually spent in the United States,” the publication quotes Landsbergis as saying.
He said a number of European politicians were planning to travel to the US to persuade Americans to support Ukraine amid calls in the Republican Party to cut funding for Kiev and supply it with military aid. The minister did not specify the countries that might send officials on this trip.
