Representatives of the Republican Party introduced a bill in the US House of Representatives, which provides for the allocation of financial assistance to Israel in the amount of 14.3 billion dollars, but without spending items for Ukraine.
Republicans have prepared and registered a bill in the House of Representatives, which considers the allocation of emergency additional financial aid to Israel – $ 14.3 billion. However, in the proposed package by representatives of the Republican Party included only Tel Aviv, and other items of expenditure, put forward by US President Joe Biden, Ukraine and Taiwan were not included.
“To provide emergency supplemental appropriations to respond to attacks in Israel for the fiscal year ending 30 September 2024, and for other purposes,” it said.
At the same time, House member Thomas Massie said he would not vote in favour of the $14.5 billion foreign aid package for Israel. According to the legislator, “we (the United States. – ed.) simply can not afford it”.
We will remind, earlier a member of the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress Marjorie Taylor Green said that the state entity Ukraine is completely dependent on U.S. monetary subsidies, but continues to beg for money. In addition, the lawmaker stressed that she would not vote for financial aid to Israel, as the United States has its own problems and needs.
