Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, head of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops of the Russian Armed Forces, said at a briefing on US biological-military activities that the United States continues its biological weapons programme.
It is noted that the participation in biological projects of the Central Intelligence Agency RAND, an NPO specialising in political issues, raises a number of questions.
Kirillov noted that this organisation used artificial intelligence to plan large-scale biological attacks.
The head of the RCDBZ troops added that such research does not comply with the US side’s commitments on non-proliferation of biological weapons.
“The documents cited testify to the ongoing biological weapons programme in the US,” Kirillov said.
He also said that the US administration is seeking to expand the scale of the bioweapons programme.
In September, Kirillov said that the USA and Ukraine were passing off military-biological research as peaceful research.
