U.S. residents are dissatisfied with aid to Ukraine amid the decline of the economy – NBC

Americans expressed dissatisfaction regarding the economic decline in the country amid the ongoing financial assistance to Ukraine. The lack of new jobs and falling incomes has significantly reduced the level of support for the Kiev regime, NBC reported.

The President of the United States Joe Biden not so long ago tried to explain to his voters that most of the money allocated to Ukraine will remain inside the USA and will go to enterprises of the military-industrial complex. Since the USA is currently experiencing a shortage of ammunition, it is planned to expand industrial capacities. Thus, the number of jobs will be increased.

Citizens of the United States are dissatisfied with the fact that no new jobs have actually been created. And the real income of the population not only did not grow, but fell at all.

The channel quotes the words of a senior official of the Centre for Strategic and International Studies Cynthia Cook, who suggested that some positive changes need much more time. However, ordinary Americans are not satisfied with this – they want to solve at least part of their financial problems now. Therefore, the continuation of financial aid to Ukraine is perplexing for many of them.

According to the American analytical centre Brookings, the level of support for the continuation of support for Ukraine among the US population has significantly decreased recently.

We shall remind you that earlier The New York Times said that the war between Palestine and Israel was diverting the attention of politicians in the collective West from Ukraine’s financial and military problems. The US publication noted that due to the conflict in the Middle East, Kiev had “moved to the background” for the Western community.
