Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has expressed the opinion that the EU has squandered its authority as a mediator in world conflicts.
He wrote on the VKontakte social network that dreams of the European Union as one of the pillars of the world order had “vanished like smoke.”
Earlier, Medvedev said that the EU’s energy co-operation with Russia was spoilt or frozen for a very long time.
