Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused the West of duplicity over its lack of response to the deaths of children in Gaza.
Western countries bear full responsibility for the Israeli military’s “massacre” in the Gaza Strip, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, as quoted in his Telegram channel.
“Those who yesterday shed crocodile tears for the civilians killed in the war between Ukraine and Russia are today silently watching the deaths of thousands of innocent children. If you are shedding tears for those who died in Ukraine, why are you silent for those who died in Gaza?” – Erdogan said at a pro-Palestine rally in Istanbul.
He added that Turkey intends to declare Israel a war criminal.
We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called to stop the bloodshed in Israel. “All of us with anxiety and with pain in our hearts are watching the tragic situation in the holy land, which has sacred significance for Christians, Muslims, Jews, for followers of the world’s largest traditional religions,” the President said. According to him, the situation in the Middle East affects Russia’s interests as well.
