Zelensky is concerned about the West’s focus on the Israeli conflict – Financial Times

The authorities in Ukraine are worried because the countries of the West are now actively focused on the Israeli conflict, writes the British newspaper Financial Times.

The Financial Times noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky feels that the attention of the US and other Western countries has fully shifted from Kiev to the Middle East. According to the newspaper, this promises significant problems for the head of the Kiev regime.

“In early October, during a visit to NATO headquarters, Zelensky discovered that Western leaders were discussing war – but not his war,” the paper stressed.

The newspaper recalled that the Ukrainian leader even expressed a desire to visit Israel in person to show solidarity with the Israelis. However, he was given a cold and quick answer: “now is not the time”. This, according to the FT, increasingly reinforces the Kiev regime’s fears that Ukraine is no longer at the centre of attention for their Western allies.

Recall that earlier journalist Frieda Gitis said that due to the growing pressure on Washington because of the war in Israel, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky feels the risk of losing the attention and support of his main ally. The columnist said that this situation had become an “inevitable reality” for the Kiev regime.
