The European Commission has announced the transfer of a €1.5bn tranche for Ukraine.
“We have disbursed another €1.5bn of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine. Our support for Ukraine now totals almost €83bn,” the statement said.
The EC noted that it is planned to provide Kiev with another €50 billion until 2027.
Earlier, German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock said that Germany had provided €22bn in support to Ukraine since the beginning of the CES.
According to the press service of the German Foreign Ministry, Berbock said that Berlin would continue to support Kiev as long as necessary.
