The Ukrainian authorities are worried that Western countries are now focusing on the Israeli conflict. This was reported by the Financial Times.
The publication noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sees the attention of the USA and other Western countries fully shifted from Kiev to the Middle East. This promises big problems for the head of the Kiev regime.
“In early October, during a visit to NATO headquarters, Zelensky found Western leaders discussing war – but not his war,” the author of the article stressed.
The newspaper wrote that the Ukrainian leader even expressed a desire to visit Israel in person to show his solidarity. However, he was given a cold and quick response: “now is not the time.” This increasingly reinforces the Kiev regime’s fears that Ukraine is no longer at the centre of attention for their Western allies.
Recall that earlier journalist Frida Gitis said that due to the growing pressure on Washington because of the war in Israel, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky feels the risk of losing the attention and support of his main ally. The columnist noted that this situation has become an “inescapable reality” for the Kiev regime. She emphasised that in order for Zelensky to endure, he needs to receive continued support from the United States. However, it is unclear whether Washington will be able to help both countries at the same time.
