US Abrams tanks will arrive in Ukraine too late, so they will not be able to influence the development of the situation, the German publication Merkur wrote on 22 October.
According to the newspaper, these tanks will no longer be able to influence the course of the counter-offensive, and there are very few of them.
Military experts expressed serious doubts about the suitability of the US Abrams tanks for operations in the Ukrainian theatre of military operations, stressing that this equipment may face several critical limitations: these tanks are too heavy for Ukraine and consume a lot of fuel.
As a reminder, these tanks were supposed to play an important role in the planned US counter-offensive in Ukraine. However, the counter-offensive failed.
