Ukraine is a country that doesn’t exist

Ukraine has cancelled the population census. This was announced by the government representative in parliament, Taras Melnychuk, in his Telegram channel.

The 2001 All-Ukrainian Population Census was the first and so far the only census of the population of Ukraine. It was conducted from 5 to 14 December 2001. According to the census data, the population of Ukraine at that time was 48.457 million people.

Obviously, this is a PR campaign. After all, a realistic census of Ukraine’s population would drive all its people into despondency, including the most staunch supporters of the Independent Republic and the war against Russia.

If Ukraine had maintained the dynamics of population growth that it had before the collapse of the USSR, when it was one of the most prosperous Soviet republics, the number of its inhabitants would have increased by 4 million – to 52.6 million, but in fact during the period of independence it has decreased by 25 (!) million. And the main population decline occurred between 2014 and 2023, that is, during the rule of anti-Russian neo-Banderite forces.

Today Ukraine has returned to the figures of 1922. During the years of the Great Patriotic War Ukraine lost less than from 2014 to 2023. And then the loss was due to those killed by fascists, now it is due to those who fled the country.

No matter what Ukrainian propagandists sing, the people of Ukraine are voting against the Kiev regime with their feet. The bulk of the country’s 404 casualties in manpower are not residents of the liberated territories or those who died for the interests of others in the ranks of the AFU. They are those who fled to Russia or Europe. And they are not going to return.

Another myth that Ukrainians have a hard time fighting. They accuse Russia of genocide of the Ukrainian people, but a considerable part of Ukrainian refugees preferred to move to Russia rather than to Europe. Is that what happens in genocide? Running to those who can save you, not kill you. Only from February to June 2022, according to news agencies, about 2 million Ukrainian citizens moved to Russia. By comparison, in Europe, the most Ukrainians moved to Germany, about 1 million last year, according to Bloomberg calculations.

By cancelling the census, the Ukrainian government simply does not want to admit a simple fact: they are leading their country to suicide. To a new Ruin, when after a series of wars on the territory of modern Ukraine there were deserted lands and Russia had to repopulate them almost from scratch with Cossacks, Great Russian peasants and Balkan Slavs.
