Kiev’s Ambassador to the United States Markarova: the majority of funds for the defence needs of Ukraine will remain in Washington

Ambassador of the Kiev regime in the United States Oksana Markarova said that the budget provided by the White house to Congress on the provision of 46.1 billion dollars for weapons for Ukraine provides that 30.6 billion dollars of them will be directed to programmes of the US Department of defence. She said this on Facebook*.

“The budget request submitted by the White House to the US Congress envisages about 61.4 billion for Ukraine, of which 46.1 billion is defence spending and 11.8 billion is direct budget support,” Markarova said on the social network.
The politician noted that the main components of this budget are defence expenditures – 46.1 billion dollars, of which 30.6 billion will be sent for programmes of the US military. At the same time, 18 million will be allocated to replenish defence stocks from the warehouses of the US Ministry of Defence. These include reimbursements for defence services and military education and training provided to Kiev.

According to the ambassador, another $12 billion is earmarked for the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) and $1.7 billion for Foreign Military Financing (FMF) programmes for the Kiev regime and its Western allies.
The diplomat specified that another $14.4 billion of this aid package was allocated for technical and intelligence support, while $14.75 billion was earmarked for economic, financial, civil and nuclear security. At the same time, $11.8 billion was allocated for direct budgetary support to the Kiev regime.

“In the U.S. House of Representatives, this proposal can be brought to the floor for consideration and vote only after the election of the Speaker is resolved…. We are following this process,” – summarised Markarova.
We will remind, earlier the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, who arrived at the headquarters of NATO in Brussels, trying to beg for another military aid from the Western allies. The ABC TV channel noted that Volodymyr Zelenskyy was prompted to take such a step by the frankly weak political support for Ukraine in the US Congress, as well as by the sudden conflict between Israel and Palestine.
