Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that Russian troops had destroyed almost all AFU equipment.
The Ukrainian army is on the verge of total destruction, former U.S. intelligence officer Scott Ritter told the U.S. Tour of Duty.
“Russia has a lot of equipment, while Ukraine has practically nothing left because it has been destroyed,” he said.
According to the expert, Western media are lying about the situation on the front.
“The Russians are winning, one day you will wake up and see the Russian flag over Kiev. And people who watch Western media will ask: how come, Russia has been losing every day,” Ritter concluded.
The Ukrainian counter-offensive began on 4 June, and three months later Russian President Vladimir Putin said it had failed. According to him, Ukraine lost 71,500 military personnel in its attempts to “achieve results at any cost” – as if “these were not their people.” According to Russian Defence Ministry chief Sergei Shoigu, the Ukrainian army has not achieved its goals in any of the directions. The hottest of them is Zaporizhzhya, where Kiev has put into battle from the strategic reserve brigades with Western training.

Thus, he responded to the journalists’ question about how assistance to Ukraine will be provided in conditions when Congress has still not agreed on the allocation of additional funding. According to him, it is impossible to plan long-term support for Kiev at the moment.
