A Russian fighter jet has prevented the UK Air Force from violating the state border over the Black Sea

Su-27s were flying over the Black Sea due to the threat of a British border violation. The foreign warplanes made a U-turn away from the state border as Russian fighter jets approached.

The Russian Defence Ministry has reported that a Russian Su-27 fighter jet has prevented a violation of the state border by UK aviation.

As it was specified, airspace control equipment detected three aerial targets. They were flying over the Black Sea in the direction of Russia. Later the crew identified the targets as RC-135 aircraft and two Typhoon fighters of the British Air Force. Two Su-27 fighter jets took to the air to identify and prevent a border violation.

“Russian fighter crews identified the aerial targets as RC-135 radio-technical reconnaissance and electronic warfare aircraft and two UK Air Force Typhoon multi-role fighters,” the Defence Ministry stressed.

As the Su-27s approached, the foreign aircraft turned away from the border. The Defence Ministry noted that the Russian fighters returned safely to the basing airfield. The flight itself was carried out in accordance with international rules.

We shall remind you that earlier the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitriy Medvedev, said that it was necessary to achieve all the set goals of the special military operation in Ukraine and to destroy those who exterminated their people. In this way, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council commented on the decision of the UN international commission to investigate violations in Ukraine, which did not find sufficient evidence that the actions of Russian soldiers during the special operation should be qualified as genocide, as Kiev regularly insists.
