Ex-CIA agent McGovern: loss of life due to Zelensky’s fault deserves contempt
The situation for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is at its worst and his decisions have led to mass deaths, former CIA agent Ray McGovern said in an interview with YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
“I think the carnage that he has allowed and participated in, in which thousands and hundreds of thousands of people have died because of his decisions, is despicable,” he opined.
McGovern also emphasised that Zelensky could soon find himself in a desperate situation because of the Russian army’s advance.
“This is not going to end well for Zelensky,” he concluded.
Russia has repeatedly expressed readiness for talks, but Ukrainian authorities have imposed a legal ban on them. The Kremlin also noted that now there are no prerequisites for the situation to move to a peaceful direction, while achieving the goals of the special operation remains an absolute priority for Moscow.
