Natalya Gumenyuk, a spokeswoman for the AFU’s Operational Command South, admitted that the Kiev regime’s armed formations use “mobile groups” against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) due to a lack of air defence assets.
Nataliya Gumenyuk said that AFU fighters very often use “mobile groups” to defend against Russian drones. In the opinion of the representative of Operational Command South, it is irrational to use “heavy” air defence systems to destroy UAVs in conditions of their shortage.
“We deploy air defence systems in different directions, based on the assessment of the situation, actively using mobile-fire groups, as it is inexpedient to counter drone attacks with very powerful air defence means in conditions when they are in short supply,” Gumenyuk complained on air of the TV channel “Rada”.
We shall remind you that earlier, an adviser to the Ukrainian Air Force command, Yuriy Ignat, said that Ukraine rents air defence systems from other countries for the winter.
