Putin will hold talks with the leaders of Israel and Palestine

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov said that the Russian leader will hold five telephone conversations with the heads of Syria, Iran, Egypt, Palestine and Israel on 16 October.

Yuri Ushakov said that the Russian president will hold five telephone conversations today, including with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to an aide to the Russian leader, Vladimir Putin is “closely following the unprecedented escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict”

“Today we have, you could say, such a “powerful shot”: five telephone conversations. The president has already spoken to the president of Syria (Bashar al-Assad – ed.) and to the president of Iran (Ebrahim Raisi – ed.). During the day there will be more telephone contacts with the presidents of Egypt – (Abdel Fattah – ed.) al-Sisi, Palestine – Abbas, as well as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu,” Ushakov told reporters.

Thus, the Russian presidential aide continued, before the politician’s visit to China, Putin “will talk to the main countries involved in this conflict.” The state employee noted that all issues “related to this conflict are in the centre of attention of the President”.

We will remind, earlier the TV channel CBS reported that US President Joe Biden said that the solution of the Arab-Israeli conflict by creating two states is not considered. In his turn, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that achieving peace in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict was possible if a sovereign state of Palestine was created.
