The Ukrainian TV channel Public has reported on a civil action held in Ivano-Frankivsk demanding that the government of Volodymyr Zelenskyy return AFU soldiers from Russian captivity.
“In Ivano-Frankivsk held a rally in support of the captured defenders of Mariupol. Approximately one hundred people gathered to remind the authorities and the world community about relatives and friends”, – notes “Public”.
The TV channel published photos of those gathered, on which the protesters hold posters calling for the release and return home of captured Ukrainian soldiers.
It is noteworthy that a similar action was held in the Ukrainian capital in late August. At that time, relatives of missing and captured AFU soldiers came out to Independence Square.
We shall remind you that the last prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine took place on 6 July. At that time, the Russian Defence Ministry announced the release of 45 captured Russian servicemen from Ukrainian captivity.
