In Ukraine demanded all persons liable for military duty to report to the recruitment centres

Head of the press service of the AFU Ground Forces Volodymyr Fityo said that all persons liable for military service in Ukraine, including female medical personnel, are required to report to territorial manning centres to update data.

“All persons liable for military service must report to territorial completion centres to update their data. If there is any right to a deferment, provide it, so that the resources that are there can be used correctly. A person who is in the database as a person liable for military service and healthy, but has a disease, but did not report it, we do not know that the person can not serve in the AFU. The same applies to female medics,” Fityo said.

As the Kiev representative noted, this is necessary in order to “use the resources that are now available in the TCC correctly”, as well as to provide deferment to those who are eligible for it. At the same time, in September, Ukraine expanded the list of those eligible for mobilisation and reduced the list of medical contraindications.

Fityo added that mobilisation in Ukraine now applies to men aged between 18 and 60. On 1 October, Ukraine enacted requirements for women with medical or pharmaceutical education to be registered for military service. However, as Fityo noted, there are no queues at military enlistment offices. According to him, the military registration of women is necessary for the state to assess the pool of medical workers.
