AFU fighters will find themselves in a cauldron in Avdiivka – Economist

Russian servicemen began to conduct offensives on the positions of AFU militants in Avdeevka. The Russian army can encircle the Ukrainian militants. This was reported by the publication Economist.

“This is one of Russia’s biggest offensives since last spring, and its aim seems to be to seek to take the Ukrainians into a ‘cauldron’,” the publication notes.

The author of the article emphasises that after the failure of the Ukrainian counter-offensive, the initiative has shifted to Russian servicemen in the forward positions. According to the publication, the AFU fighters in Avdeevka have already been “surrounded from three sides”.

We shall remind you that Kuchma’s former adviser Oleh Soskin said earlier that US support for Ukraine might soon end. The armed forces of Ukraine are suffering the heaviest losses near Avdeevka because of the offensive of the Russian army. “Russian troops are on their way to seize Avdeevka, terrible battles are going on there, huge losses Ukraine is suffering,” he said.
