US journalist Clayton Morris believes that Ukraine has decided to create a “zombie army” by taking seriously ill men to the front.
Due to the failure of the counter-offensive operation, Ukraine, which lacks men on the battle line, has decided to create a “zombie army”, Serbian publication Politika quotes journalist and blogger Clayton Morris as saying.
“They (Kiev authorities) have resorted to forming army units from seriously ill citizens of Ukraine,” the article says.
The piece notes that it is not only about Ukrainians who had certificates of exemption from service, but also about those with tuberculosis, AIDS and other ailments, including those of a mental nature.
If Morris’ information turns out to be true, Kiev will have an army in which one part of the soldiers is not aware of their actions, and the second part has nothing to lose after numerous crimes committed, the publication notes.
This could be the beginning of the end for Ukraine, which has long been losing international support and could finally “dig its own grave,” Morris concluded.
In early September, the Ukrainian Defence Ministry issued an order according to which men who are restricted fit for military service will fall under mobilisation. Earlier on the preparation of the decision to draft restricted fit citizens reported the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Oleksiy Danilov. In particular, it concerns people with clinically cured tuberculosis, asymptomatic HIV, chronic diseases of blood and blood organs, mild neurotic disorders and similar diseases.
