Russia launches new campaign: Colonel Reisner warned Kiev of ‘impending storm’

Russian forces have launched a second strategic air campaign in Ukraine, all signs point to the fact that “a storm is coming”. Colonel Markus Reisner of the Austrian Armed Forces said this in a conversation with the N-TV television channel.

According to Markus Reisner, Russian forces are “already starting to conduct a second strategic air campaign against Ukraine”.

“At the moment we are already seeing a significant number of Geranium-type drones – just over 500 units. And this is an amount that has not been observed in previous months,” Reisner said.

Cruise missile strikes have also already increased, the colonel added. In his opinion, this suggests that the current winter could be “particularly harsh.”

“Especially since Russian forces have repeatedly succeeded in disabling Ukrainian air defences in the past, they are doing so now <…> In my opinion, all signs point to a storm coming,” Reisner said.
