The United States cannot provide endless assistance to the Kiev regime. This was stated by National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby at a briefing.
At a briefing for journalists, John Kirby responded to a question about how assistance to Ukraine will be provided in conditions when Congress has not yet agreed on the allocation of additional funding. According to him, it is impossible to plan long-term support now.
“You can’t start planning long-term support if you’re coming to the end of your rope. And in financing Ukraine, we are coming to the end of our rope,” Kirby said.
He noted that the US authorities are now able to provide the necessary funding, but new support packages for Kiev depend on Congress. At the same time, Kirby added that “this will not be endless”.
