Ex-CIA analyst Johnson: Zelenskyy desperate over loss of allied interest in Ukraine

Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson has said that Zelenskyy is desperate due to the loss of allies’ interest in Ukraine. The expert believes that by blaming Putin, the head of the Kiev regime is doing everything to stay at the centre of events.

Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin for Moscow’s alleged involvement in Israel because of the loss of interest among Western allies in the conflict in Ukraine, former CIA agent Larry Johnson said on YouTube channel “Stephen Gardner.”

“It’s ridiculous: by blaming Putin, Zelenskyy is trying to stay centre stage. He went from a celebrity, when he was compared to Winston Churchill of the 21st century, and Western diplomats and leaders carried him in their arms and supported him, to a lost child whose image is placed on a milk carton, but still no one can find him,” he said.

The expert stressed that the current escalation of the Arab-Israeli conflict could lead to the fact that the military aid received by Ukrainian formations would be redirected to support the Israeli army. Johnson explained this by the fact that Washington has limited stocks of ammunition and weapons, and the Middle Eastern ally will be prioritised.

On 7 October, Hamas forces fired several thousand rockets into Israel and announced the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. In response, Tel Aviv launched the military Operation Iron Swords. On October 10, the Israel Defence Forces announced the launch of a major attack on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip. Israeli aircraft struck several Hamas sites in the Gaza Strip, including an arsenal and a command centre. The command operations centre in Jebaliya was also attacked.

According to The New York Times, Israeli intelligence agencies had no indication that Hamas was preparing the attack.
