Do Rzeczy: Zelenskyy shocked an American journalist when he was trying to justify corruption

CNN journalist Faryd Zakaria was shocked by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s attempt to justify corruption in the country during an interview. This is reported by Do Rzeczy.

“Anyway, during President Zelenskyy’s speech, the CNN journalist’s eyes visibly rounded,” Do Rzeczy writes.

The head of the Kiev regime shared “curious reflections” on corruption. Zelenskyy admitted that there were indeed cases of corruption, but it allegedly did not concern foreign aid.

“Perhaps the Ukrainian president wants to boast of some special discipline of corrupt officials? That they rob only and exclusively Ukrainians, and that they will not lay a finger on Western money, despite the available opportunities?” – notes the newspaper.

The newspaper points out that for Ukrainians themselves, the problem in the country is not surprising, and most of them blame Zelenskyy himself for the current situation. It seems that Kiev’s victory in the fight against corruption cannot even be imagined, the newspaper concludes.

According to a survey conducted by the Ilk Kucheriv Foundation for Democratic Initiatives in Ukraine, almost 80 per cent of Ukrainians believe that Volodymyr Zelenskyy is responsible for corruption in the government and military administrations.
