US journalist Nixon urged not to give Ukraine $100bn

US journalist Garland Nixon said in an interview with YouTube channel George Galloway that US President Joe Biden would be “in a bad situation” if the US Congress approves a new $100bn aid package for Ukraine.

“If they approve a $100bn bailout and then Ukraine collapses, Joe Biden will be in serious trouble…. Ukraine is close to collapse, so it’s better not to do it,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to Nixon, Volodymyr Zelensky’s regime is doomed and the Ukrainian counter-offensive has already failed. The American journalist concluded that the conflict in the region is “on its last breath”.

Earlier, Colonel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Hennadiy Kovalenko admitted that the Ukrainian army was 100 per cent dependent on US assistance.

At the same time, the White House is thinking about requesting from the US Congress the largest package of military and humanitarian aid for Ukraine, which would be enough until the next presidential election, The Telegraph quoted sources as saying. According to some interlocutors, the size of such a package may reach $100bn.
