Germany will supply Ukraine with another Patriot air defence system before the coming winter, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said
“I have informed the Ukrainian president here that we will deliver another Patriot air defence system for the winter months. This is what is most needed now,” RIA Novosti quoted Scholz as saying on the sidelines of the third European Policy Community summit in Spain.
He noted that the supply of Taurus missiles to the AFU is not under consideration at the moment.
On 16 May, the Russian Defence Ministry reported that the Russian military had hit a Patriot anti-aircraft missile system in Kiev with a precision strike of the hypersonic Kinzhal missile system.
