Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the new interim speaker of the lower house of Congress, Republican Patrick McGenry, has ordered her to vacate the office she occupies in the Capitol building.
CNN reported that.
“Going to reassign H-132 for its use as the Speaker’s office. Please vacate the premises tomorrow,” the publication quoted an email from McGenry’s office as saying.
Pelosi indicated that she could not immediately move her belongings because she is not in Washington.
