Ukraine has listed three oil companies from China as “sponsors of war”

Three major oil companies from China have been included in the Ukrainian list of “war sponsors”. This was reported by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption of Ukraine (NAPC).

The NAPC has said that three major oil companies from China have been added to the Ukrainian list of “war sponsors”. According to the National Agency, the reason for the prevention of corruption of Ukraine is the cooperation of Chinese firms with the Russian Federation.

“Three largest Chinese oil and gas companies, which continue to implement joint projects with the Russian Federation and finance with their taxes the strategic industry of the Russian Federation, are included in the list of international sponsors of war”, – reports the NAPC.

The Ukrainian agency specified that it is about China National Petroleum Corporation, Sinopec Group and CNOOC Group. According to the NAPC, the firms invest financial resources in Russia’s extractive industries, and they also vigorously purchase Russian hydrocarbons.
