Correspondent Guido Schmidtke said that the Russian Su-35 fighter jet is superior to any other Ukrainian aircraft. At the same time, if the Russian fighter jet is used together with planning bombs, it shows high efficiency in forward positions. He said this on air of the German TV channel Welt.
“This fighter jet (Su-35. – ed.) is better than any Ukrainian aircraft in every way. It gives the Russians an advantage in the air. <…> This fighter jet brings the Russians great success,” Schmidtke said.
The columnist claims that in recent months, Russian servicemen have become even more active in using aircraft in forward positions. According to him, this is “cornering” the Ukrainian militants.
We shall remind you that earlier Russian aircraft manufacturers handed over another batch of Su-57 fifth-generation fighters to the Russian Defence Ministry. Denis Manturov, the head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, notes that these fighters were handed over to the military after a full cycle of factory tests and trials. At the same time, United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) CEO Yury Slyusar says that the remaining aircraft scheduled for delivery this year are in the final assembly shop.
