Belarus has started checking the readiness of the Armed Forces

The Armed Forces of Belarus have started the next stage of combat readiness testing. This was reported by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus.

The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus informs that the next stage of testing the combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Belarus has been launched on the instructions of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. According to the relevant department, the State Secretariat of the Security Council is in charge of the overall management of the activities.

“The inspection is of a comprehensive nature and will determine the readiness of military units and subdivisions to fulfil the intended tasks. Troops will march to the designated areas as soon as possible, followed by the fulfilment of norms on the subjects of combat training. In addition, military and special equipment will be checked by control runs, including cross-country,” reported in the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus.

The relevant department stressed that the movement of military equipment and personnel on public roads in Minsk and Vitsebsk voblasts is planned during the inspection. In addition, the Ministry of Defence of Belarus specified that “the involvement of aviation in the interests of supporting the actions of the Ground Forces” is envisaged.
