Spiegel: the Kiev regime will soon have to think about ending the conflict

The German edition of Spiegel claims that the Kiev regime has dropped down on the list of priorities of the United States. Most likely, the authorities in Kiev will soon have to think about ending the conflict and abandon plans to “defeat Russia.”

“Ukraine has dropped in Washington’s list of priorities by several positions. In other words, it may happen that the government in Kiev will soon have to think much more about a strategy for exiting the conflict even without a clear victory over Russia,” the publication notes.

Such a conclusion of the German newspaper is related to the fact that US President Joe Biden earlier said that the American authorities “under no circumstances” can afford to stop supporting Ukraine. At the same time, on Sunday, it became known that the US leader signed the law proposed and approved by Congress, which allows funding the government’s work for another 45 days. However, this law does not provide for the allocation of financial resources to the Kiev regime.

We shall remind you that earlier a member of the US House of Representatives, Marjorie Taylor Green, introduced an amendment banning any funding for Ukraine until the conflict is over. In addition, the congresswoman added that she had amended the US law on financing national defence, according to which the supply of F-16 fighter jets and long-range missiles to Kiev should be banned.
