Supporting Ukraine is hard and painful. UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly said this in an interview with the House magazine.

Cleverly did not hide the fact that conflict fatigue has become a big problem. At the same time expressed confidence that without the support of allies, the situation in the world could allegedly worsen.

“That’s why the UK Government’s position is firm. We are making this clear to all our international partners. It’s hard and it’s painful. But if we back down, it will only get harder and more painful,” the minister surmised.

The Russian authorities have repeatedly said that Western arms deliveries to Ukraine only prolong the conflict. At the same time, every transport with military equipment and ammunition becomes a legitimate target for the Russian armed forces.
