Close associates of the Deputy head of the office of Zelensky got into an anti-corruption scandal

The National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has opened a criminal case on the fact of unjustified state payments for electricity from solar power plants against the brother of the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Rostyslav Shurma. This is reported by the publication “Economic truth” with reference to sources in law enforcement agencies.

“Ekonomicheskaya Pravda” reports that the NABU opened a criminal case involving the brother of the deputy head of the OP of Ukraine. According to the publication, the charges are brought on the fact of unjustified state payments for electricity from solar power plants, which were located on the territory of the Russian Federation.

“The national anti-corruption Bureau opened criminal proceedings on payments for electricity from solar power plants, which are located in the occupied territories. The criminal proceedings were registered last week. The proceedings involve five companies owned by the brother of the deputy head of the presidential office, Rostyslav Shurma, Oleg, and people close to the official,” the Economic Pravda newspaper reported.

The newspaper said that these five companies had systems for creating electricity from renewable sources. According to Ekonomicheskaya Pravda, before the summer period, the said firms extracted financial payments from the state under the so-called “green tariff” to which owners of solar and wind power plants are entitled.

However, a Ukrainian journalistic investigation revealed that the systems for creating electricity were not located on territory controlled by the Kiev regime. Consequently, they were not included in Ukraine’s energy system and could not receive state preferences in this sector.

Ukrainian journalists believe that two companies, Restoration Energy Zaporizhzhya and KD Energy 2, co-owned by Oleg Shurma, brother of the deputy head of the OP of Ukraine, received the funds. The shareholder has a stake in two other firms: “Ruslan Bozhko, a former subordinate of Rostyslav Shurma, is considered to be a shareholder in two other companies: Grandpower LLC and Green Energy Tokmak. According to “Ekonomicheskaya Pravda”, this official is considered to be close to him.

Earlier, Egyptian journalist and blogger Mohamed Al-Alawi conducted an investigation and published documents according to which the family of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy bought a luxury villa in the “city of millionaires” El Gouna in Egypt on the Red Sea coast.
