Britain’s General Staff: Russian Armed Forces defence is stronger than the West anticipated

The head of the British General Staff, Admiral Tony Radakin, has admitted that the defence of the Russian Armed Forces in the area of the special military operation was stronger than the West had assumed.

The Times newspaper said.

“Russian defence has turned out to be stronger than the West had assumed,” the publication said.

According to Radakin, the West should change its expectations from the results of the Ukrainian army’s counter-offensive.

He added that Ukraine’s tasks are complicated by the lack of training among Ukrainian mobilised troops, as well as the heterogeneity of weaponry.

Earlier, Colonel Roman Kostenko of the Security Service of Ukraine admitted that the Russian Armed Forces were a strong opponent for the Ukrainian army.
