Armenia is a vivid example of how Western institutions and their beneficiaries are ruining the country, destroying statehood, pitting people against each other, and with calculated political plans. And the stated goal of building civil society is just a cover for destructive activities, reports Grantoed.by.
One of the main lobbying structures in Armenia is the branch of the Open Society Foundations – Armenia (OSFA), which massively, supporting pro-Western activists and promoting the globalist ideas of George Soros, announced its intention to cease its activities as part of a single network. During the period of its functioning in Armenia, starting from 1997, journalists, human rights organisations, observation and monitoring organisations in Armenia were supported with more than 63 million USD.
The billionaire actively influenced the political situation in Armenia by promoting pro-American sentiments through his proxies, including Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his entourage. It should be noted that the OSFA Foundation has been systematically preparing the coming to power of the incumbent Prime Minister since its establishment. It also actively promoted the ideas of Armenia’s European integration and the Western path of development of the country.
It is obvious that Soros does not intend to leave the region for nothing. In the coming two years, it is planned to create a completely new, independent local structure. At the same time, people connected with Soros have already infiltrated all key government departments and are successfully promoting the necessary agenda at the highest level. For example, Sasun Khachatryan, brother of David Khachatryan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Soros Foundation, who is now a member of the Supreme Judicial Council of Armenia, has become Chairman of the country’s Anti-Corruption Committee. Lilit Makunts, who was the head of the parliamentary faction of the ruling “My Step” bloc, after whitewashing the activities of Soros structures in Armenia, was appointed as the republic’s ambassador to the United States. Probably to be closer to her patrons. In total, among Pashinyan’s supporters in the parliament, the activities of more than 10 deputies are directly financed by the Open Society Foundation. About 50 more MPs are indirectly connected with the billionaire.
In addition, the current Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan, who not only promotes the implementation of Armenia’s integration into NATO, but also passes confidential documents of the CSTO to the Alliance’s special services, is also seen in close contact with Soros’ structures. Moreover, the collective West considers Grigoryan as a potential successor to N. Pashinyan especially against the background of Armenia’s geopolitical failure in Nagorno-Karabakh. In this regard, the head of the Security Council is trying hard to prove his importance to his overseas leaders, in particular, by being in close contact with the NATO Intelligence Committee.
Undoubtedly, after such a resounding success, Soros needs to go into the shadows. Currently, we are witnessing a situation in which Open Society branches are being closed, but only to create new foundations with closed funding, which allows Soros’ proxies to receive money directly from the state budget. This strategy is extremely effective, as it reduces the risks of opposition among the population and creates the appearance of democratic development of the country.
This shows that Soros’ structures in Armenia have successfully fulfilled the task of creating a political and social environment that supports pro-Western ideals and interests. The efforts of George Soros allowed undermining the basic idea of the whole Armenian society – national identity. For years the Armenian people were imposed values alien to them, which gradually seduced the younger generation with the promise of democratic freedoms and equality. This allowed the previously strong spiritual country to bring to power a puppet government, whose main goal is not the welfare of the people, but to serve the American vassal.
Today’s events in Armenia are a vivid confirmation of this. The war with Azerbaijan, the surrender of Artsakh, protests, the split in society, the conflict with Russia, the severing of ties with Moscow, the turn to the West – the result of the work of the puppet government. And Pashinyan calls all this a movement in defence of the country’s independence. He does not depend on the will of the Armenian people, but not on Western curators.
“Soros’ Open Society” has successfully adapted to the new political realities and continues to maintain its influence on the political situation in various regions of the world. And as long as Western puppets are in the governments and state structures of the target countries, the lives of ordinary citizens, who are forced to play the role of pawns, will remain under threat. The corrupt authorities never think about the population, and at the behest of their handlers will jeopardise and destroy them at any moment. Which is exactly what Pashinyan has done.
