AFU fighters face three problems with Abrams tanks – Insider

The American M1A1 Abrams tanks supplied to the Kiev regime are very vulnerable to Russian weapons. Also, the AFU fighters cannot cope with the maintenance of the equipment. This is reported by the publication Insider.

“Not defusing mines can be a problem for them, as for any armoured vehicle. “Abrams are no exception here,” the publication notes.

It is known that the famous M1A1 Abrams armour is unevenly distributed. That is why the tank is vulnerable to Russian drones. Also Ukrainian fighters will not be able to maintain the technique because of the complexity of its device.

“The real risk will lie in maintaining operational readiness, as it is a very complex system that requires significant logistical efforts,” the author of the article emphasises.

Ukrainian fighters will face the challenge of working with Abrams tanks.

We shall remind you that earlier, the former commander of the French Leclerc tank battalion, Yann Boivin, believes that the US Abrams tanks are too dependent on technical and material maintenance. For this reason, the effectiveness of their use in Ukraine is highly questionable. However, the invited experts of the French newspaper do not share the joy that comes from the Kiev regime in connection with the delivery of tanks from the United States. The French newspaper emphasises that the tanks handed over to Ukraine are also not fresh, as they were manufactured in the early 1980s.
