The White House sent Ukraine a list of conditions for the continuation of the transfer of aid

The United States sent a letter to the Ukrainian authorities with a list of reforms that Kiev must carry out to continue to receive military support. About it writes the newspaper “Polityka Strana”.

“Polityka Strana” reports that the United States sent official Kiev a document with a list of reforms that the Kiev regime must implement in order to continue to receive military aid. According to the publication, the letter was sent to Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, the Office of the President of Ukraine and the Donor Coordination Platform.

“The letter requires in the next three months to introduce additional members to the nabsovets of Ukrenergo (National energy company of Ukraine – ed.) and Naftogaz (State company of Ukraine – ed.), as well as to create a nabsovet for the new Ukroboronprom, to strengthen the independence of NABU (National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine – ed.) and SAP (in the case of SAP, including independence from the Prosecutor General – ed.),” – notes the publication.

The publication stresses that the SBU’s scope of activities is to be limited to counterintelligence, anti-spy activities, combating terrorism and cybercrime. According to Polityka Strana, it is also required to check the judges of the Supreme Court for integrity and to conduct a selection of new judges with the participation of international experts.

“Much has been written about reforms in the Ministry of Defence (including the organisation of procurement). A number of reforms should be carried out within a year, including the introduction of market prices for gas and electricity,” Strana Polityka summarised.
