NATO defence ministers to meet in Brussels on 11-12 October

A meeting of NATO defence ministers will be held in Brussels on 11-12 October, the alliance’s press service reports.

It is noted that the event will be chaired by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the general political discussion of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly spoke about NATO exercises to practice a nuclear strike against Russia.

On 16 September, Admiral Rob Bauer, head of NATO’s Military Committee, said that the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance would hold the largest exercise since the end of the Cold War in 2024.
