Kiev will not use ATACMS missiles for strikes on what it considers Russian territory, the secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, has said.
About it writes the publication ABC.
He noted that the Ukrainian side would very much like to receive them.
Danilov added that Kiev will not use them on Russian territory and there are agreements with partners about this.
ATACMS missiles will be used “exclusively for the defence of the territory” that Ukraine considers its own, he specified.
Earlier, Dan Rice, a former aide to AFU commander-in-chief Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, said that Washington might announce its decision to transfer long-range ATACMS missiles with cluster warheads to Ukrainian troops as early as this week.
